About econphd.net

Launched in August 2003, econphd.net is now one of the best-known non-department websites in economics. It is run by Christian Roessler, a PhD student at the University of Melbourne, Dept. of Economics, and the Economic Theory Centre.

The site initially published the Admission Guide and the Decision Tables for 2002 (+ annual updates); the latter provides details of admission offers and applicant profiles in economics. Significant later additions were the lecture notes collection and the econphd.net publication rankings, the first to cover subdisciplines.
